Great shopping and restaraunt venue, very expensive only for the upmarket. All top names are there/ There are bettter shopping places on Houston if looking for reasonably priced goods.

I was in Houston for the OTC and decided to visit the biggest mall. Quite impressive but I guess having been at The Dubai mall I was not blown away. Major name brands were there and environment was quite pleasant.
I visited The Galleria with my mum when visiting Houston. We decided to spend a day there, thinking that would be long enough to explore the shops. How wrong we were! On day 1, we didn't even come close to visiting half of the shops within the centre. We returned on our last day and visited a few more but...

If 'power' shopping and seeing the maximum variety in one location is your ticket...
This is the largest shopping facility I have ever visited. With the range starting at the designer end with Neiman Marcus and the Chanel boutique, and then it winds slowly down to the 'it was a bargain' sector. Truly something for everyone. The restaurants range from...

Prices are high, although virtually any store of any stature at all can be found within the confines of this beautiful facility. Parking is adequate and very close to all the stores because of it being a ramp.
I had the opportunity of staying in the Galleria area and visited the mall on two seperate occasions. It is huge and has a skating ring in the center of it. Lots of stores and places to eat. It can be exteremly crowded but it certainly a location you have to visit as least once. I had lunch at the...

Great collection of shops. Parking was not too bad. The ice rink is really neat and fun to watch everyone skate on!
All day experience of shopping, dining and playing. Many high end stores. Great place for people watching and letting the kids ice skate.
Went here with the family on a one day trip to Houston. My 3 year old loved the fountain that poured from the ceiling, watching the ice skaters, the Disney store, the Cheesecake factory, and Tilt (the arcade). They have something for everyone in this huge mall. Just wish I had more time to do some high end shopping.
Did not have the greatest experience here. Whomever designed this facility was assuming shoppers would supply their own compass. I don't like how you have to go through Saks to get to Macys from the rest of the mall, felt like we were walking forever. In the end they have some good high end stores but I don't care for...
