It's a Great idea and is a pretty nice set up, but that being said, there are a Lot of rowdy teenagers that visit this place. I took my family there to enjoy the beach and we needed to rinse our feet off so we headed to the showers they had there and while we were walking by a group... More

“Nice Beach for Kids”

Not a bad place to spend time with your kids. Protected by a fixed boardwalk and has decent sand and bathroom facilities. During the summer, ther is a police presence, but no lifeguards. The lake is again full and all we need is summer temps! More

We stopped by to look at the beach in early November when it was cold and after Texas has had a terrible summer drought. Very impressed. The beach is big. It looks like even when the water levels are normal, it is a good-sized beach. Nice city pavillions are available to be reserved. The water is clear (by Texas standards)... More
