Make this your first stop because they have tons of brochures on area attractions and will be happy to answer any questions you have. Check for discount coupons for the area shops--we could have saved 10% at the Panhandle cooking store (great place, with lots of spices, teas, coffee, soaps, and lotions). Good bathroom stop, too. More

The employee in charge knows his stuff! Plenty of local information and pamphlets are available. Make this first stop when coming to town. More

I called the visitor center and found the gentlemen to be very helpful and he mailed us a visitor guide and other useful information. Upon arriving in Granbury we visited the center and again the gentlemen was very helpful and pleasant. It was very refreshing - the visitor center was what a visitor center should be.
