Smaller than it's New Braunfels location, the Galveston park had much to offer. Definitely rent a cabana, well worth the money as there is not a lot of shaded areas to rest. This was our first time at Schlitterbahn in Galveston (2 adults and 3 teens). I rented a VIP Beach Cabana for the day. If you are wanting to hit up a waterpark and you are already in Galveston, go ahead and go here. Its fun. But if you are driving longer than an hour to get here, go to the one in New Braunfels. Its way bigger and nicer. This one is old and it shows its age. Not alot to ride either.... More

The day we went the lines were not bad at all until noon and then they got a little long, so get there right when it opens and you can walk right onto the different slides. Schlitterbahn Galveston is a nice getaway. We visited at the end of the main season and staff and facilities were still in good shape. Much different from the original park, this park is just right for a hot Summer Day outing. We'll be back. More

We live in New Orleans and this was a quick get away before school starting. We really enjoyed the park. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a small park and you really only need 1 day but it's worth while staying all day. Lazy river is awesome. !!!!!! More
