Feel as if you were in the 1800's. Beautiful. Always have great shows, a lot of variety. My favorite seats are on the second level, the mezzanine.

This is a small venue, and an ideal location to take my grandchildren as all the seats are good.

We took the self guided tour of this wonderful restoration - a beautiful theatre - wish there might have been a performance.

I love going here. It is small enough so everyone seems to have a great seat and it is nice to be able to actually SEE what is going on, on the stage without binoculars.

Keep in mind this venue is as stated built in 1894. Yes it has been renovated (actually completely redone after hurricane Ike) but they have kept the integrity and the feel of the original theater. That translates to very little leg room...

I've seen a couple of production at the Opera House and toured as well. It is a beautiful venue that should be explored by anyone interested in the performing arts.
