We only had the afternoon, so we just sat on the beach. It was not that crowded for a Sunday afternoon. However, the city needs to clean up the seaweed! It is a common complaint. There are no bathroom facilities. Texas needs a good beach!

This is Galveston's only privately owned beach which means that you pay the owner to park on the beach rather than the City of Galveston. That's the only real difference, the sand is the same and the water is the same which is all good.

It was the best service I've ever seen on a beach. My daughter and I went during spring break and it was pack and they still had time to take care of us. We had a great time and it's a perfect spot.
