I went to Stewart Beach last weekend. I have been to this beach many time before, but this is the first time I am writing a review on it. I was there with my husband, and we reached the beach at about 10:30am. It was cool in the morning, so we decided to walk to the pier. We rented beach... More

We went here after Spring Break. It was very nice! Clean and quiet, we fed the seagulls and ate, found sea shells, took a long walk, splashed around, and really enjoyed it! The kids ran and played and had a great time. Lots of room, and just generally a perfect Texas beach for family. There is an $8.00 entry fee... More

Though there are lots of places along Galveston Island to plop your stuff down for free, Stewart Beach has a few advantages for families that make it worth the $8 entrance fee. There's ample parking with flaggers directing you to open spots, saving you the hassle of parallel parking along Seawall Blvd. There's a building with real bathrooms - flushing... More

This was a day trip for us...considering it is Galveston and not known for the beautiful sand or ocean, it was a perfect outing with 7 kids in tow. We got there early (10am) and parked very close to the beach access and the bathrooms! A must with a small one who needs frequent restroom breaks. We were there early... More

A good beach to visit if you don't want to fight for a spot on the seawall. Plan on a little walk, but bring your chairs and stretch out in the abundant space!

We went there and we were looking forward to be able to get sea shells but we got only about 10. The place is full of seaweed and trash.

This is a really nice beach for the Galveston area. In general, the Galveston beaches are not the greatest compared to other beaches I have been too (I grew up in Florida). But for the area, it is really nice, lots of sand, volleyball, and other amenities.

Nice family beach with amenities that include bathrooms, showers, food services and shops. We had a very good time and were home for dinner.

Parking was right on the beach and we did not have to pay to park. I'm assuming that's because it was October and the bathrooms were locked up. That was very inconvenient but otherwise we had a great time. The beach was clean. Middle of October and we spent most of the 3 days in the water. We had a... More
