It was a great morning at the NOAA center, se learned so much about Sea Turtles. The Staff were friendly and very knowledgable. The trip to the beach to look for eggs was fun too.

What an experience! Our family attended a turtle tour hosted 2x a month on Thursday's. Our tour was at 10:00 am and the presentation was very fun and informative. The treat for the kids (an even the adults) were seeing the turtles from hatchlings to 2 years old in the turtle barn. To reserve a spot, you need to go... More

This might be a wonderful tour. But at the time of our visit in Oct. 2012 the Lab was open for tours only two Thursdays a month - and the visitor numbers are limited. I expect it would be well worthwhile, but it should not be a focus of your visit unless you call well in advance. A lot of... More

The tour was very informative and we got to see a lot of Loggerhead sea turtles in open tanks. Some good work is being done here to test Turtle Excluder Devices that are required now for fishing boats so that if... More

This place is hidden away and you have to call in advance to get in but when you do you'll realize that once in a while the government finds a good use for our tax dollars. These folks are doing amazing things to save our natural sea animals. The kids will love it.
