They give you two days on your ticket and you would need that. If you have only a few hours, go see the big equipment down the street first.

This museum would be an excellent attraction in NYC, LA or any other big city, so it's an absolute treasure for a small, Hill Country town of about 10,000. The Nimitz Museum is excellent and showcases perhaps the most famous person ever from Fredericksburg, and the Pacific War Museum is a detailed, highly organized tribute to the Greatest Generation Ever....

the town where admiral nimitze is from is a great host town,and they have done this museum up right.you can easily spend all day looking at the pacific war displays and the town has plenty to offer for others who dont want to do the museum.
