Now that Jerry Jones has built his $1.3 Billion Cowboys stadium, there is no reason for the Cotton Bowl to exist anymore. The venerable name "Cotton Bowl" may attract you, but by any other name it is just a creaky old uncomfortable stadium. More

My beloved Cougars won the City Ticket Bowl. The stadium has gone throught a 57 million dollar renovation and it was great. More

That's what it's famous for. It's updated but it is a stadium afterall. Not much to look at (at least not like Cowboy statium standards). If you are in fair park take a peek. After that forget about it. More

Historic Football Landmark. In non-descript part of Dallas, Cotton Bowl is easily served by DART rapid transit, Green Line, Fair Grounds stop. No need to drive and park. Have just returned to the state fair and Cotton Bowl after a 10 year absence. The atmosphere remains great with lots of happy/fun people, food/drink and experience.
