Can't remember the name of our guide but he was very informative and humorous. Took my kids (5 and 10) for Spring Break and they had a blast! One section of tour requires walking stooped over for a considerable distance so be aware. More

I've never gone caving nor explored any caverns before. I was rather impressed. I thought I would get clausterphobic but never once. Longhorn Caverns was a nice surprise of a caving experience. The normal tour is offered every hour and lasts 90 minutes or so. The main entrance to the cave is quite beautiful. The tour guide does a great job of explaining the geological features and historical relevance of the cave (which is quite extensive). The tour is essentially an out... More

The guide was engaging and seems to really like his job. It would be great on a hot summer day since the cavern is cool. Not a hard walk either. More

My husband and I enjoyed the prettiest drive of our trip to the Texas Hill Country when we happened upon P4 road to Longhorn Caverns State Park. There were beautiful bluebonnets on each side of the road. More

I wasn't as interested in this as my husband and son were but it was so worth it! Great history in that cavern and we had a great guide. More

Different from luray, inner space and natural bridge. More affordable than others as well. Not many formations but large chambers/rooms. Goofy guides, but kids liked it. More

My wife and enjoyed the 90-minute cave tour. This cave is different as it is river formed and had a great history of native American, cowboys, and early 20th century occupants. More
