This was my sixth time visiting Knoxville, but my first visiting Tuckaleechee Caverns...and, boy, have I been missing something great all those previous trips. For just $16, you get to spend About 90 minutes underground in one of the most amazing caverns I've ever seen. This place has it all, from cathedral sized caverns, to underwater rivers and waterfalls. The... More

We were just driving around the Smoky Mountains and saw the sign for the caverns. Followed the well marked route and ended up in their parking lot. From the outside, you would never know how wonderful it is below. The tour is only $16/adult and well worth it. Our tour guide was Lauren, and she had a very pleasant style... More

We had a couple hours to spend before we could check I to our B and B, Grace hill so we decided to check out this local attraction. We didn't expect much as it seemed understated. Well we were really surprised. Magnificent caverns and knowledgable guides. You will really enjoy it.

We bailed out of Cades Cove due to rain and found ourselves near the Tuckaleechee Caverns. It seemed a lot of folk had the same idea, as the parking lot was full. I almost changed my mind, but my wife made the command decision and I am glad she did. Once we got underground, I realized this was nothing like... More

This is a fantastic experience for all ages. I was there last when i was 8 years old and have always had fond memories of my visit there. 32 years later it was still just as interesting, and my 11yr old thought it was awesome! Very little changed - there is an entire building built over the cave opening which... More

Learned a lot on this tour and it was a very interesting way to spend an hour and a half. We just happened upon it by accident but if you like caves its a must see when you go to the Smoky Mountains!

This is a relatively easy hike with the most strenuous being the stairs leading into the cavern. A family of four fee is about $45 and it will take about 1.5 hours to complete. If you seek an easy adventure with your kids that is something that they will not likely see often, then I would recommend this.

Words can not describe this attraction. You must see this if you enjoy the works of Mother Nature. The tour is only about 1 & 1/2 hours, but you will see a lot of really amazing things and the guides are great at explaining everything with simple words. Take a little spare change for the underground wishing well . You... More

So glad we did this!! Our guide Joseph did such a great job and we really enjoyed the caverns. We saw lots of formations, a water fall, and a river :) make sure you wear nice shoes I wouldn't suggest sandals. About an hour and fifteen minutes long nice and cool down there. Felt like I was on set of... More
