Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Dollywood is the perfect family amusement park - Great roller coasters for the teenagers - plenty of rides for younger children - tremendous musical shows - The Kingdom Heirs ( the best gospel group I have ever heard) has entertained at Dollywood for over 20 years - the Festival of Nations in April and May - the Bluegrass and Bar... We went on a Monday thinking the crowds would be less but it was busy that day. Many groups of kids for school trips etc. We rode many of the rides. My husband and oldest son's favorite ride was the Soaring Eagle ride....they went 6 times. Rides for all comfort zones.....we have a daredevil kid and one who is not... More

Don't miss the new My People show! It features Dolly's brothers, sisters, nieces, and other relatives, all of which are very talented. Dolly wrote the musical and appears with them via big screen. There is so much to see at Dollywood you could just keep going back! The only negative is the walking is hard due to being built on... More

I liked Dollywood - it was pretty and well done. I just wish there were more rides to enjoy, which is the primary reason I go to an amusement park.

This park is a very child friendly park. The prices are outrageous however we have seasons passes so it makes a difference. If you get season passes at least one person needs a gold pass so you can take advantage of the free parking ($15/day I think) and 20% off all merchandise. You'll earn your money back in one day.... We just love Dolly and each year we visit Dollywood just for the day. This year we decided to buy a Season Pass because of the fun we have each year and will return again in the Fall and Winter for a weekend getaway from Ohio. Can't wait to be back again in October and December. Thanks for the fun!

I recently visited Dollywood with my family and several of my in-laws. Unfortunately I have to say my visit was very disappointing. We only had one day of our vacation where we could go to Dollywood. The forecast called for rain on that day due to a front moving through the area in the afternoon. We prepared for this by... More

Expensive and not very many healthy choices...almost everything was fried. We would have liked to see more fruit and homemade sandwiches

My wife and I took our 16 year old grandson to Dollywood for one day. It was the first trip for all of us. My wife and I took in shows and rode the milder rides while the 16 year old went to the thrill rides. We all got our moneys worth. This is one of the few theme parks... More

Waited a long time to get here and all I wanted to see was the coat of many colours. I loved it but I am a big Dolly fan. The pace is much more relaxed than the big theme parks and that is nice. The show's are really good especially if you like country, rides good and food reasonably priced.... More
