Went with visiting relatives, it is was interesting and fun even though I'm not an avid country music fan. The displays were well arraged with good lighting and great items of varied interest. Everything connected to tourism in the Nashville area is always a little costly and this place is no exception. But seeing some relics from the past make... More

Please note this attraction is currently closed, the last two reviews seem to relate to The Country Music Hall of Fame and caused me to have a wasted trip!! It is due to reopen early in 2012. More

As previous reviewers have said, this museum is dedicated to the groups of session musicians who have produced the music behind just about every great act from the 50's onwards. The Musicians Hall of Fame is a great museum to visit. It has as small theatre and plenty of exhibits and information about many many artists. I learnt Nashville is much more than Country music. I chose going here over going to the Country Music Hall of Fame and was very pleasantly surprised. More

This museum is not as widely publicised as the Country Music Hall of Fame just a few blocks away, but it is definitely just as, if not more worthy of your time than that museum. This is a must see for anyone interested in the fine details of all music. they do nor focus on country alone. it is amazing to read about the musicians who have played on some of the greatest albums of all time, and to see their instruments close up is fantastic.
