We went to the Christmas concert at the Schermerhorn and enjoyed the combination of the symphony and the choir. The Schermerhorn is such a wonderful music venue. If you haven't been there, find any reason to go and enjoy!

On April 29th we caught Steve Martin & Edie Brickell with the Steep Canyon Rangers here and between the huge laughs (thank-you Steve) and the fantastic music, along with this beautiful sympony hall...it made for a perfect evening in Nashville. We will definately be going back!!!

OK, so before you head for the country bars, go see a concert at the Schermerhorn. The hall is new (renovated following the floods too), beautiful, accessible, acoustically sound (get it?) and very worthwhile. Nashville also has a great orchestra, so check them out.

We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant befor the concert. This is a beautiful concert hall, unlike most halls a rectangle. Just terrific.

This is a showcase for Nashville and the Tennessee area. Excellent seating is complemented by an amazing acoustic experience. The exterior and interior are classic ambience and contribute to the overall experience. Unfortunately the demand for classically oriented programs is decreasing and they are offering more "pop" experiences. You must see and hear the Nashville Symphony in this venue.

Not a bad seat in the house. Beautiful marble columns and a surprisingly intimate feel in this grand space. A lovely setting for an excellent symphony.

I have only been to the symphony center once, but it is very nice!! Such a elegant and beautiful building. I technically didn't attend a show here. I was here because I was helping work a show for the community. The auditorium is very nice, you can hear really good inside it. I know many shows come here, not just... More

Perhaps if you go there for a symphony, it may be alright. We went there for the Lyle Lovett show last night. We saw him on same tour 3 nights prior in West Virginia and had a blast that we still smile about. At Schermerhorn, I couldn't recommend it. The building is beautiful but although parking is wide open in... More
