I will agree with other reviewers that it is a bit hokey, the commercials are odd, and that some of the entertainers are a bit old, but it is a "MUST DO" if you have never been. It is a very well done show and each entertainer moves on and off quickly. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience... More

If you want to see and hear lots of country entertainment this is the place to go. For about 2 hours you get non stop country music by well known country artists. If you like old time country, bluegrass, or new country rockabilly they have it all in one show. The building and surrounding grounds are beautiful and the seating... More

Having grown up in a musical family, the Grand Ol Opry was a constant source of entertainment both for my Grandparents, my parents and me. We enjoyed one of the best 2 hours of music I can remember. Thing to remember with the show though, everyone comes out, does 2 songs then moves on, so if you're there to see... More

As much as we all hear of the Grand Ole Opry, next time I will skip it and just go to the Ryman unless there is someone special playing there. The facility is wonderful with comfortable seats. There were too many unknowns and elderly entertainers and square dancing besides the frequent commercials since the program is on the radio. It... More

I was not excited to go on a tour but my daughter wanted to.....glad we went. It is a very interesting place full of history and great presence - you can feel the excitement when touring backstage! A little pricey, but worth it. Just getting to stand on "the circle" onstage was pretty cool.....

I have been to the Grand Ole Opry numerous times, at both the Ryman and at the Grand Ole Opry House. I would reccomend seeing a show at the Ryman, but the Opry is only there selected times throughout the year. Either way you will get a great show. I dont think there is a bad seat in either venue.... I'm about as far from being a country fan as it gets, but I had a great time. The music ranges from classic Country Western to New Country, which is a lot like Classic Rock. The quality of the entertainers is top notch. It's also just a great experience to be there where history has been made for so many... More

Four of us went for the "backstage pass" tour -- we got to walk through the studio, the dressing rooms and on stage! The tour was chuck full of interesting facts and there were tons of pictures and stories about every aspect of the Opry. Worth every minute of the time we spent there!
