Scion is a hidden gem among the wineries of Rutherglen. All of their boutique wines are well worth tasting and buying. Also a great opportunity to talk directly to the people who make the wines and share in their passion for their product.

We stopped at the Scion Winery on our way through the Rutherglen Wine region. This is a fantastic little winery run by some really genuine lovely people.

This is one of our favourite wineries in Rutherglen - a guaranteed inclusion on any tour we do. Jan and Rowly are so welcoming and take the time to explain their different wines. It is one of the smaller wineries, but their wines are all fantastic and they are willing to try new varieties and make something a little different.
