Tours are really safe & a lot of fun. We have been on 3 different tours and each time we have seen and experienced the bay in a completely new way. Most importantly NO sea sickness! Fantastic value. More

I joined Mike and a group of other hardy adventurers yesterday to track the Endeavour replica down the bay and out the heads on its next leg to Bega. What an experience with the weather ranging from lovely sunlight to full on squalls with hail which gave us fantastic photographic opportunities as some of my pics show. Luckily the heavy... More

We live on the Peninsula and have watched the ships enter the heads for years, we have always loved seeing the coastline, the bay and the ocean from the many viewing areas around Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale. South Bay Eco Tours is offering a very unique and exciting experience by taking people out through the heads and watching the pilot... More

Saw the South Bay Cruiser the day before and thought, "Looks like fun....let's do it!" The Easter Thursday weather couldn't have been better and Mike gave us more than our money's worth taking a little extra time at some of the attractions. Surfing at the Rip was breath-taking; seals cavorting around the boat and dolphins cruising along-side in crystal clear... More

Our kind skipper Mike showed us some wonderful sites. The sea lion colony, hundreds of gannets nesting, a sea lion diving and catching its dinner and a thrilling trip out the heads to see the pilot boat take the pilot out to bring in a ship. If you're in the Queenscliff area we highly recommend Mike for a real adventure. More

This was the best thing we've done for a long time - and all on our doorstep. The trip took in such a range of things from the navigation systems at the Heads the geography of the sea floor [which could be seen on the screen including changes in depths], to the spectacle of the pilot boat and running very... I have lived in Geelong and Melbourne all my life but so much of the 1.5 hour Discovery tour was new to me. I have never seen the Australian Fur seals and gannets at such close hand. Refer the photos. Another highlight occurred when our eco-boat closely tracked course with an outgoing pilot boat, and we learned a lot about... More
