Overall we enjoyed the zoo, but were dismayed with many very small enclosures. Particularly for the birds and monkeys. More

halls gap zoo was worth a visit especially for kids. They would love to also have a picnic and play on the things that they have. Found some of the animals interesting. Lot of walking but hey! good exercise. More

My husband and I love going to zoo's. As adults it was nice, but a bit too farm like. Having said that, it is for that exact reason, I think children would love it. We were looking forward to seeing something a bit different, like the giraffe, but it wasn't coming til after our visit. If your looking for a... More

Great, especially feeding the animals and having some of them just wandering around. More

My wife and I took our 3 girls (all under 3) and they had a ball. A great place to take kids as there are so many attractions, interactive experiences with the animals and great family friendly facilities. If you're planning to go to Halls Gap, and especially if you have young kids I thoroughly recommend the Halls Gap Zoo.... More

The zoos I have been to so far have rather small enclosure but Halls Gap Zoo was quite different. The animals enjoy huge area and the moment you walked in, you are likely to be greeted by lots of peacocks. I was able to get really close to some animals, which was great. Love this zoo. More

I've been visiting the zoo since my kids were tots and now I take my grand kids along. Formerly it was known as a wildlife park. The new owners of 4 years have made a tremendous difference to the park, constantly adding new species and working on better infrastructure. There used to be about 50 species but now there are...
