My husband and I stayed in Lakes Entrance - the caves being a 25 minute scenic drive away. The trip itself is worth doing as the landscape in May is colorful and lush. The cave tour was unique, a long winding narrow path (about 500m) that has been dug by man to showcase the natural formation of drip rock (similar... More

Park is beautifully maintained, two main caves, tickets for one or other. Tour professional and well presented by well trained guide who knew his stuff. Plenty more information outside caves and you can stay in park in caravan/camping sites or in top quality "retreats", tents on raised floors. Park is great place for a BBQ or picnic, some wildlife early... More

We took a guided tour of Royal cave. The tour guide was friendly and helpful. It was amazing to see the natural beauty and history attached to these caves. Caves are well-lit and there are concrete pathways to walk on. The reserve outside the cave is also quite peaceful and beautiful. We took a walk on the hill but we... More

These caves have been open to the public for 100 years so they are well trod. Having done private caving and been to other locations, the Royal Cave is a modest size cave with basic features and excellent for small kids. More

The fairy cave is magic, all sparkly, it really appeals to kids and grown up kids who like bling. There are two caves that you can visit, both are pay by view and you may need to pre book a tour time once you get to the park, particularly during the holiday seasons and weekends. Lots of wallabies and possums... More

As soon as i entered the royal cave i was so amazed with the beauty. Unfortunately the fairy cave was closed as it was flooded but not to worry. The tour guide did mention our group was quite large and the slowest to move through. the camera flashes get annoying after a while, its much more beautiful to view with... More

A very beautiful and peaceful place to visit whether it be for a day or a week. There are two major caves to explore which can both be seen the same day if you're on site on the day. Our youngest, a 4 year old, didn't find it hard to walk. They also weren't very claustrophobic as the caves are... More

Great experience and the guides were great at both caves. Now I understand why the lady selling tickets when asked which cave is better said "please, this is the only question I will never answer" . Now, I will act similarly if asked ... Do both caves, you will not be disappointed. As a hint, we found it very good... More
