A lovely clean beach. The walk along the seafront is a must. There is always lots of sports taking place that you can watch. The water is clean and so is the beach.
There is a lovely long pathway by the beach which is flat and good for walking. The area is not over developed and still looks quite natural. The red cliffs at the end are quite dramatic and the start of the Jurassic coast.
Great beach sandy, got every thing you need, even Donkeys, Really good fishing area, Stay at exeview, right on the beach

The tides can be dangerous so care is needed to observe the warning flags and swim only from designated areas which are overseen... More
A great beach for the whole family. Be aware of the tides and you will have a great day at the beach. There are many facilities very close to the beach. There is even a bowling alley close by. Wintertime is a dog owner/walkers heaven as many dogs can be seen enjoying the beach.

Lovely long beach with far reaching views. My only criticism would be dog mess!!! Why don't owners clean up after their pets??? Disgusting. I know it is out of season, but they must clean it up. Apart from that, not much has changed for years. Nice long walk from end to end.
Beach is lovely and clean with plenty of room for lots of people. There are loads of dunes at the rear of the beach for a bit more privacy. I love this beach and can't wait 'til next summer when I can visit again.
Spotlessly clean, easy access, plenty of space, refreshments available. There are shelters built under the pavement at the back of the beach with benches so granny and the babies can have shade or shelter from the rain while the kids and adults have fun building sandcastles, collecting shells, swimming in the sea etc. There is a bit dogs are allowed...
