Very informative gentleman when we arrived, explained a bit about the history but didn't go over the top. We got the ferry out and walked back when the tide was low, recommend the walk if you can as you get brilliant views.

An interesting castle with a Master Gunner who demonstrates musket firing. At 12 noon in the parade ground he also recruits male visitors into the Militia. He gives an excellent history of the castle and whilst doing so gives his recruits some drill. This is followed by them being marched out of the parade ground to the 1 o'clock cananon...

Interesting morning or afternoon, great views and an interesting performance by 'The Master Gunner' and chums brings the history of the place to life. Much enjoyed.

We listened to the 12 noon chat from Gunner Blake and then were part of the team that got to do the lighting...

It was a good walk out across the causeway and an unusual ride back on the Duck. Bit of a climb up to the top.

We visited this castle I wanted to go and see it because it was in the middle of the sea, when the tide is out you can walk along the slipway and when the tide is in you can get the hover bus. I think it is just an average castle
