We went to the Market because it was really hyped in the brochures and info about Knoxville. We went Friday May 18 and arrivied at 10:00 AM. Hardly anything was open and just 2 produce stands. While on a weekend visit we decided to check out Market Square. The weather was perfect so there were lots of people out. There were a few places to eat and a couple shops. It was very clean and super dog friendly. One of my favorite parts of our trip.

I found so much under one roof - from handmade birdhouses and jewelry to Amish jams and even watch & jewelry repair! It's so fun just to wander the aisles and see what you come across. There's a cool antique place in the corner that has 200 year old doors from India too. Cool!

The Turkey Creek Public Market recently opened and is still growing (Sept. 2011). There are spaces to have about 700+ vendors under one roof when it is filled to capacity.
