I went on the dinner cruise in early spring. It was a warm, sunny afternoon and there were not many people on the boat. It was very relaxing. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and I was able to go visit the captain while he was piloting the boat. They just started a new mystery cruise and I... More

My wife and I have taken two dinner cruises with the Volunteer Princess. We really enjoyed the experience both times. One was for new years, the other valentines day.The yacht was purpose built for the river dinner cruise and has everything needed to create a really special experience. The owner greeted us both times and handed off to an attentive... More

Yes, there was a warm greeting, the boat ride was wonderful and the sights were gorgeous, but other than these things I felt everything else was downhill as far as food and service. When I first walk in, I am charged an extra $60 for our cruise when using the half off coupons (We aren't made of money, it's the... More

Since the wedding was a destination wedding to be held in the Smoky Mountains, all the guests were from out of town. This luncheon cruise highlighted the beauty of the Knoxville area and provided a chance for all the important... More

"Welcome aboard!" says the English man who greets you at the entrance of the yacht. He also happens to be the owner of the ship. This is a family run business, with the owner greeting you and smiling at you periodically throughout your meal, as well as overseeing kitchen and service operations. His wife runs the office operations. Son is... More
