Ijams has hiking trails that are long enough to make you feel like you have had a proper hike, even though it's right in town. I like to start on the trails that go down by the river and keep going around toward Mead's Quarry, then up the hill to overlook the quarry. There are also bike trails and non-mororized... More

Miles and Miles of trails, some shaded, some paved. River views, Nature programs for kids, play area with a playhouse my son loves. Definitely worth going (again and again:) More

and I was, drop by INC. It is charming and gave me a very nice, wholesome feeling rarely felt anywhere, anytime. I only explored the garden for 15 minutes or so, but will likely go back again when guests visit from out of town. More

I don't have alot of comments except this: I've been to a few nature centers, this one ranks near the top. Nice trails, various educational opportunities, nice ambience. A gem of a find located in the woods surprisingly close to downtown Knoxville - you'd never know it! More

There are many hiking trails with educational stops long the way. The building includes exhibits regarding the native plants and animals of the area. Beautiful place so spend a few hours for children, adults, families or loners. You can move at your own pace. I take a picnic and stop to relax whenever I want. More
