My mom and I took my 4 year old niece here. Most of the animals were hiding or maybe not in there habitats? The snakes were cool though. The trails are pretty and easy to navigate, just watch for roots & stumps! The lake is baeutiful. Great way to spend the afternoon for just a few dollars.

This mountain top lake has hiking trails and a nature center with rescued animals. The volunteers working with the animals are very knowledgable. There are many hiking trails of various lengths and offer fantastic views of the valley. You are able to walk across the dam. Picnic tables are available. Admission was $3/vehicle.

The nature center and animal exhibits were great. We would like to have gone on the barge trip also, but we did not see any parking at the boat landing level. The trail to the parking area was too steep. We are glad the animals there have been rescued ( not purchased) and are the park is teaching visitors about... More

Great place to get in touch with nature and animals in their natural habitat. My daughter loved the deer...would definitely recommend!

We take the kids there before fire works on the fourth of July. We take a picnic and run around in the woods and visit the displays. It has always been a wonderful place to visit.

Enjoyed walking on the trails....deer were walking around in the woods by the trail. It was very peaceful and beautiful scenery. They had wolves, hawks, otters, etc that you could view. The lake at the top of the mountain was also very scenic. We spent a couple of hours there, but if time permitted, and if we would have brought... More

I had a nice trip to Kingsport and finished with a day on the mountain bike trails at Bays. Kudos to the local MTB club for maintaining and building the trails-which are excellent. Park staff was helpful at the gate, and shared necessary instructions to get to the trailhead. Highlight of the trip was the view at the firetower, from... More

Enjoyable park to spend time in hiking the trails or visiting the various animal containment areas. Being able to watch wolves and predator birds up close and personal makes this a favorite when we visit Kingsport, TN. It is a well maintained, well laid out park.

Our family with two grandchildren were here for spring break, so one of our outings was a trip to Bay's Mountain. We recently moved to the area and had not been there before. The road signs easily help one to find their way off of I-26 in Kingsport. It was a beautiful, but cool spring day, so the walk around... More

A nice place to visit for a relaxing outdoors trip. Lately they've added a bit more, with the addition of a zip line and rope course, however due to to park only receiving a small amount of funding they only operate those attractions a few hours per week and it's not available every day. They have a planetarium show, but... More
