We booked through Wahoo Adventures and had a great time rafting down the Nolichucky. Patrick was the best guide you could ask for...great knowledge of rafting and local history with lots of laughs in between. Highly recommended!!!

So fun to tube on this shallow but very-exciting-in-spots river. In season, there are strawberry farms nearby for pick-your-own.

My husband and one daughter rafted this through USA Raft and enjoyed the trip in kayaks. I like to go there to collect some rocks when the water isn't too high so I can paint them.

This river is not dam controlled but if there has been a decent amount of rain recently it is a great ride with exciting rapids.

Nolichucky River is a beautiful river with rapids and slow lazy-seeming areas. River rafting tours are loads of fun. But the river has a reputation for drowning fishermen and kids swimming. Wouldn't suggest you go in or on it without a good guide.

Only difficulty is requires several people. someone must drop the tubing group off and then pick them up down river. Worth the challenge
