We saw a lot of families having a great time. It's just a nice park. Had food trucks with funnel cakes and ice cream and shaved ice. Lots of food choices within walking distance.

Not much to do. Pay to park, walk, pay to ride carousel, walk, pay to rock climb, walk...sit by riverside....this place is good if you have a toddler who might want to play in the fountain.

Coolidge Park is easily accessible in the North Shore area of Chattanooga. Coolidge Park is an oasis on the North end. If you come to Chattanooga in the spring, summer, or fall you have got to visit this park. We took the grand children to the carrousel. They had a great time. It is a good value and worth taking a ride on for both young and old.

My grandson and I walked across the Walnut Street Bridge and took the time to enjoy the carousel. Because we had to dig for change (the debit card reader wasn't working) he had to ride alone. A taste of yesterday for kids of today. It's not flashy or digital or laser-lit. It's a carousel where one's imagination can soar.

Love the carousel and the open space for playing frisbee. Love the walking bridge to the museum. Parking is the only issue.. Wish you didn't have to pay to park at the park.

Great for kids, picnics, sunbathing, kite flying, frisbee, that kind of stuff. My only complaint is that they don't allow dogs :(
