Our cruise was fantastic! Very relaxing, educational and the scenery was beautiful. Capt Dave shared lots of history about the river along with pointing out the local wildlife. Personal attention given to the entire group! The BBQ dinner was delicious! This was all in all a wonderful trip my husband and I shared together on our anniversary! More

This was a first rate trip with great information about the history of the area and local wildlife shared by Captain Dave. He made it interesting and funny! We were lucky enough to be on a very light trip so we had personal attention by Captain Dave and his crew. Worth the money for the trip! More

Our family took the Blue Moon Eco-Cruise down the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, TN yesterday. Loved it! A "first class" FUN, educational and entertaining experience. The guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the Tennessee River "grand canyon" and kept us entertained all along the way. The crew were all very friendly, stopping to chat with each... More

The Blue Moon Cruise to view wildlife at the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge and all along the waterway was excellent. I personally traveled there to see the Sandhill Cranes, which I did get to see -- hundreds and hundreds on the sandbars and flying in. Just beautiful. Also eagles, cormorants, snow goose, black duck, osprey, kingfishers, more. Captain Dave and the... More

Blue Moon Cruises takes one into the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge where thousands of migratory birds take shelter during the winter. Sandhills, Whooping, and now, a Hooded Crane has joined its cousins. All these birds and more can be viewed from outside decks or through the glass sides of the cabin, comfortably heated. The BarBQ buffet meal is served here at... More

Wife and I booked an Eco Cruise to Hiwassee Refuge. I cannot say enough good things to describe this trip. Capt. Dave, Ethan and John were all first class in every possible way. Trip was educational, enjoyable and very reasonably priced. We had an excellent lunch on board too. Trip lasted a little over 3 and a half hours. We... More

We went with friends on the Hiawassi Eco Cruise to see the Bald Eagles and the Sandhill Cranes. Captain Dave was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot about the Eco system, the migratory birds, and of course the Sandhill Cranes. The boat was very clean, and the lunch provided very good as well. Dave and Ethan were very... More

We did the Hiwassee Eco-Cruise today, after going last year and loving it. We saw about 12 bald eagles, hundreds if not thousands of Sandhill Cranes and various other interesting wildlife. The staff is wonderful, the food is good and the wildlife is fantastic. It is definitely worth going. More

I was pleasantly surprised with Blue Moon Cruises. We took a Fall Color Cruise leaving Ross's Landing and going around Mocassin Bend up near Suck Creek. This was the shorter of their cruises (2.5 hours). The guide could be heard inside and outside of the boat and explained a lot of history and ecosystem points of interest on the trip... More
