I was hoping this would be a highlight of my trip but since the River Bend festival was going on, many streets were blocked off and it was almost impossible to get to this area. We stopped in one shop but couldn't spend much time there because the police were blocking off roads and we were afraid we would get... More

Great place to spend an evening! There are two delicious restaurants to choose from, one dessert and coffee shop and little shops to browse in. After your meal you can wander the sculpture garden and visit the hunter museum. The property also connects to the Walnut St. walking bridge, which spans the Tennessee river for a great view of the... More

We love this area of Chattanooga for its views, art gallery, restaurants, proximity to downtown and shopping. Very popular with locals as well and appears to be very safe. Great for some walking, running, biking and foot bridge across river for access to shops on other side of Tennessee River.

We had planned to have lunch and spend a couple of hours in the Bluff View Art District. We enjoyed a nice lunch at Tony's, visited a museum, and toured the Bed and Breakfast. After that we ran out of things to do. It was a pleasant experience, but not much of a destination for longer than a couple of... More

It's a fun little urban oasis with great food and very interesting surroundings with a sculpture garden and neat little shops. Tony's is not to be missed or the Healthy Bread from the bakery.

There is a variety of enticing, unusual, some large scale works of art that may be called art by some people and some that you may say what is that???? It is worth a visit, but if you don't have a Platinum American Express or you are the one that the car advertisements for 0% interest are reality then don't... More

Overlooking the Tennessee River, the Bluff View Art District has it all within a couple of blocks: museums, great food at several restaurants, beautiful view, a B&B style inn, sculpture garden. You can come to Chattanooga and never leave these two blocks!

Got there on a Saturday around 5pm. Could not find the entrance to the chocolate store and the Art Gallery was closed. Difficult to maneuver the area.

We enjoyed walking around the area. The view of the river is great, and the buildings are very interesting. We went into the Bluff View Inn to look around, and it was beautiful. We would like to go back and stay there sometime.

Check out Tony's and Rembrants when you are in the Art District, great Italian food followed by great coffee and desert.
