This "attraction" is about 0.6 miles off the main road and down a dirt track. It's not very well signposted, we really had to look out for it. The tour itself lasted 20 mins, but there were only 5 of us. Yes it's "cool" but it was only one cottage and they try to tell you it's something it's not... More

This is a very different kind of attraction. The teens I took were fine with it (as was I when I was in jr. high) but I didn't feel very good while there and for awhile afterwards. I'd recommend checking into this more on-line before dumping $9.50 per person. It is a unique oddity - your tour will last up... More

For the amount of time you are actually at cosmos i would say its not worth the money. Go to bear country instead. It's neat what they do but I'm pretty sure we were there for less than 30 minutes and that included a 5 minute wait

Very unique experience. I highly recommend visiting the Cosmos when in Rapid City and the Black Hills.

I didn't think this place was very exciting or fun, and over priced. It might be worth doing on the way to somewhere else, but probably not, it was really hokey.

There are many attractions in the Black Hills that will blow you away. I don't personally think this is one of them. It is fun to visit and you have some photo opps (especially if a friend/family member volunteers during a tour). There are a variety of eye-tricks they have done by slanting walls and ceilings in the little buildings,... More

I would have rated this lower but my 10-year-old little sister thought it was fun. It's an optical illusion, takes 1 hour max, and costs $10/person. They give you a tour through old cabins that were built on a slant to make it feel like gravity has shifted. Typical tourist trap.

This is a fun little trip to take. Doesn't take long to go thru and wasn't expensive. It's obviously built in such a way to fight gravity but the kids thought it was hilarious and it was bizarre to be walking at different angles etc. Definitely fun! Tour guide was super interesting and kept everyone's attention with his enthsiasm. The... More

No huge lines, and in the shade. We had a good time with the kids we wish it was a longer tour. It was fun having everyone envolved on the tour, our tour guide was fun!
