We took a bus tour from Fort Hays which began with a YUMMY pancake & sausage breakfast and time to tour the Old West Town and ended with a dinner show. The Bus tour was incredible! I highly recommend it. (not sure if I'm suppose to rate the tour but if so I give it a AA+) The Old west... More

It's a family tradition to go to the dinner show (at least) once every year--mostly because we know the members of the band. A great meal, wonderful entertainment, and a very welcoming and friendly staff! This is definitely something to add to your itinerary if you're visiting Rapid City and the Black Hills -- or even for the locals to... More

Had breakfast before boarding the bus for our full day of adventure to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and monument and all things in between. We had time to walk around and enjoy the things on site before we left on our our bus. Our tour guide was great and it made the trip so much more enjoyable. Dinner afterwards... More

The complex where the tour begins is like a step back in time. Riding in the bus with a great driver/guide to see Rushmore and Crazy Horse and the entire area beats your own car hands down. You learn the lore of the land and much more, then you return for a great meal and great country entertainment. This is... More

Walk through the doors where Dancing with wolves was filmed. Remember the Fort Hays scene? Its there intact. And the show and supper are fun. Not bad food, much better than I expected. You pass through a "chow line" to get your food, but rremember to move your plated along. If you don't they just keep piling it on and... More

I picked this as I thought is would be a good experience for the kids. It was nice, more on the touristy side of things though. I thought some of the action would be outside, but really just buildings to see, walk through, and such. The rope making was neat, but had to buy the rope. The tin plate making... More

This was a prepaid dinner and show during our bus tour to SD. When you pull in there are some exhibits Blacksmith shop, etc that you would find in an old western town; they seemed to be just "displays". Perhaps someone was there earlier in the day to talk about what they did. The building where you eat dinner and... More

We didn't go to the show, but did go for 99c all-you-can-eat pancakes on our way out of town. Service started at 6:30 am and we were the first ones there as we wanted an early start for our 10-hour drive that day. The pancakes were delicious - and really cost only 99c. My husband and I each ate only... More

Our breakfast was very basic- good pancakes, but meatless sausage gravy. Our tour guide, Ken, was excellent. He is a history teacher and has been doing the tour for 13 years. He talked through 90% of the trip relating interesting facts and stories. (Volume too loud, though) Our bus broke down 5-10 miles from our return to Ft. Hays &... More
