I grew up less than a mile from here and heard the blowing of the horn when the release more water. I love the views and spent many hours at the beaches and in the water. We spent and still spend a lot of time at the recreation areas. We really enjoy it!

The tours of the dam include a trip to the bottom where the turbines do their work. Dedicated by Pres J. F. Kennedy in the early 60's.

Nice camping under the cottonwoods. Many options for boaters to enjoy fishing and boating. Well kept and family friendly. If you are able take a tour of the inside of the dam.
