Quite a place. It pays tribute to the Lakota Indians and their traditions. Inside there is an informative little museum with speakers and outside are magnificent bronze sculptures depicting a Lakota buffalo/ bison hunt where the animals were herded over a cliff in order to kill them. More

Great setting in the Black Hills. Our Native American guide brought history to life, and the sculpture is awesome! More

Gives a good undertsanding of the life of the Native Americans who lived in the area and how they depended on the buffalo for their survival. A Kevin Costner establishment. More

We went to Deadwood from Colorado for the Labor Day weekend. We anticipated visiting Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, and doing some gambling. We read about this cultural attraction in a Deadwood, South Dakota, brochure and decided to visit it.
