This gorgeous house is a rarity because all the furnishings and decor are original to the house - right down to the cookies in the cookie jar. Guides are well informed and enthusiastic about the home, have interesting stories to share - which truly makes for a good tour - and keep the tour moving at a good pace. Well... More

The house was great and tours are done on the hour by very knowledgable ladies, well worth the hour. You can get AAA discount to get a $1 off the small entrance fee. More

After a fun-filled day in Deadwood, we made a special trip back the next morning just to go to the Adams House. What a delight. Even with young boys (7 and 9) it was a hit for our entire family. It is a beautifully maintained home and the Tour Guides are knowledgeable, engaging and the tour was well-paced. We were... More

The museum had such cool stuff relating the the history of Deadwood and the Black Hills. However, they also had items that any major international city museum would kill to have, for instance the items belonging to the Romanov family. More

We visited the Adams House on September 28, 2011. The tour was excellent thanks to our guide. After seeing the bedroom of W.E. Adams young wife, Mary, I could easily believe the house is haunted, although our tour guide did not speak of such an event. There were 4 of us on the tour and we each were shocked by... More

This was one of the most enjoyable attractions during our time in Deadwood. Definitely worth a visit. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the house and it's history. The story is very interesting and the 'feel' of the house was quite amazing - it was like stepping back in time. You could imagine living there all those years ago.... More

Nice historical Victorian house. Deserves a visit if you like to know Deadwood more than just its casinos. Very informative tour and tour guide. I suggest that tour guides should instruct visitors to turn off their cell phones before starting the tour. One of the visitors was inconsiderate to let her phone ring and answer the cell phone in the... More
