Very fun afternoon day trip from Charleston, Kiawah, or Seabrook. Firefly Sweet Tea vodka and bourbon are pretty genius inventions, and the flavored moonshine in mason jars are not bad either. Went here with the inlaws and they thoroughly enjoyed it too-- a very fun and unique tasting that I would definitely recommend as a must-visit if you are in... More

This is a great way to see the countryside of south carolina and have a good time. If you like alcohol then this is your place. They have something for people with a sweet tooth and some selections that kick you in the mouth as well. It's a lively atmosphere with a lovely grounds. Overall, a must do for almost... More

Firefly had a good line up of tastings for all taste buds, from sweet Firefly Sweet Tea and Southern Lemonade to bourbon, rum Moonshine. Very out of the way, but perfect if you start with a tour of the Charleston Tea Plantation, which is where Firefly gets the tea for its Sweet Tea.

Just a few steps from the Irvin House Vineyard wine tasting building was the Firefly Distillery tasting house. We enjoyed tasting the great variety of spirits and definitely bought some to share with friends and family back home. The popcorn was nice for the kids to much on while Mom and Dad did the tasting. I did a blogpost that... More

We didn't know anything about this local drink until my husband went to a local liquor store and the clerk mentioned that they can't keep it on the shelf! We decided to do some investigating by way of sampling at the distillery and LOVED the PEACH moonshine the best. Nice peaceful place to linger. Also saw an ad for weekly... More

Whenever I go to Charleston, I always stop here for a tasting and often walk away with a bottle or two. The employees are always super helpful and will walk you through the offerings. I LOVE their lemonade vodka, which they only sell at the distillery. Be sure to pack a snack or bring lunch/dinner before you drive out because... More

Where else can you go and meet the owners? I was there for birthday and Jim (the owner) was nice enough to take a picture with my girlfriend and me. And his wife was a sweetheart, she poured several of our drinks and gave me a few birthday gifts. It was just a great time, it isn't that long of... More

We were on our way from Charleston to Hilton Head and took a side trip to the Charleston Tea Plantation and the Firefly Distillery. What a fun afternoon! Both stops were sensational. The sun came out as we arrived at the distillery and winery, which made for a delightful time. The tastings are held in a converted barn and for... More

My bf and I are huge fans of Firefly vodka. After doing much research on tripadvisor, places to visit, I am sad that Firefly distillery didn't come up. We found a little flyer at the Best Western hotel on Savannah Hwy. It was about 30 minutes from our hotel and to be honest I wasn't to thrilled with the scenery... More

When you are tired of looking at old houses and touring plantations and walking their grounds...this is something unique and different to do. For the grown ups of course...sorry kids. We had a great tasting here as a different excursion while visiting Charleston. We went on to a tasting in the winery on the grounds as well. Enjoyed both! Distillery... More
