Excellent course conditions, enjoyable layout, and a great staff. We enjoyed this club and will put it on our "must play" list for future visits. Be sure to book your tee time here before considering other neighboring courses. Well worth the greens fee. More

This was a quick golf trip in lieu of playing in the Member Guest at my club so we decided to play some upper scale courses that had been on the list for a long time. THE GRANDADDY has always been on the wish list because it's the oldest and because of some traditions I'd heard about. The Hot chowder... More

Played this course in mid July 2011. The conditions were really good. Only saw some minor bare spots in the 18th fairway. Greens fees were combined with MyrtleWood courses. Played this course in the AM for $49.00. FYI, there is not a range at this course. More

While not one of the best golf values in Myrthle, this old lady really delivered some fantastic greens and a simply classy layout. At over $100 price tag it was worth it but replay was impossible as course was packed on saturday afternoon. More

The oldest course on the Grand Strand underwent a $15 million renovation a couple of years ago. The result is a great golf course that has a fine balance between challenging and fun. Many beach courses have gimmicks such as island greens, ridiculous amounts of bunkers, unreasonably long par 3s, etc. Not so at the Granddaddy. Generous fairways let you... More

Played ther 3/21/10......Only good thing about the place was the bag guys. Total RIP OFF, the greens had no grass on them, the course should still be closed until someone figures how to grow grass on the the greens. Greens Keeper should be ashamed of himself and The Management.... what a bunch of crooks for charging 140.00 to play there. More
