This course is in excellent shape after it's recent reconstruction. We played in late April in the afternoon after a big rain and it was still in great shape. The course plays a little long (par 70), so don't be fooled. The fairways are wide and generous, and the greens are approachable, but challenging. The only reason I rated it... More

Who says old isn't good. The oldest course in Myrtle Beach is still a great tract. The latest renovation has only enhanced the enjoyment. I play it often.

Played the course on February 18th for the second time on our annual Myrtle Beach trek. Course was in excellent condition and one that will be on our list for next year as well. Friendly staff - nothing not to like !

What a great course, in excellent condition. Played as a scramble for our first of 6 rounds. Good pace of play, and true to its original style.

Finally played the course the other day with my son for the first time since they redid it. The course was in great shape fairways, rough and of course the very fast greens. The staff was very friendly. If you have not gotten to play this course and you are going to be in the Mrytle Beach area I would... More

I live in Myrtle Beach, and so I play most of the golf courses, but it is always Pine Lake CC that's on the top of the list for my friends that visit Myrtle Beach every year. The first course built in Myrtle Beach and the history is evident from the clubhouse to the Pinehurst-like greens. But, its the cordial... More

a must play when in MB. Birthplace of Sports Illustrated. Still has a little bit of "Old South" feel to it if you let your imagination wander a little. Include on your next golf buddy trip.

We happened upon this course accidentally and are thrilled we did as we will play it again and again upon our return. All in our group are beginner-intermediate golfers. We felt the course was fair and challenging but not frustrating. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful and all wanted to share some piece of history about... More

Really nice course for all levels of golfers. Challenging but fair. Greens run straight and true. Pretty course too. Great food in the clubhouse.
