We camp here in the primitive area with our scouting group. It has a good trail system and the scouts enjoy being able to camp close to home...especially with the gas prices. The only down fall was having some teenagers from the nearby subdivision cutting through the camping area - really distracting. More

Very good hiking, running and cycling trails for the SC midlands. Not as good as the smokies or even out west, but definitely a very good trail system for th area. More

We took one of the walking trails to the river. There were also cyclists in the area, and if you have your own canoe there are areas where you can paddle out on the river. More

If you want to escape the crowds and noise- come here and enjoy a walk on the several trails offered. The trails are geared towards different levels. from easy to hardcore= all are quiet good. Bikers also enjoy the trails-so beware, lest get run off the trail. just kidding, bikers are respectful to walkers here. The forest trails are well marked.... More
