It was quite and experience to walk the Ravenel Bridge. The views from the bridge, which is nearly 200 ft above the water, are unmatched. There are great views of Charleston, the USS Yorktown, the Harbor, and Fort Sumter. More

We have thoroughly enjoyed looking at the Ravenal Bridge from different angles and in different lights for the month we have been in Charleston. The walking/biking lane is a really nice touch though you might want to do it after you have thought about the wind velocity on your day of choice!! More

You must walk the bridge. There is great parking on the Mt. Pleasant side. Follow signs to patriots point and you will see the sign for parking to walk the bridge. There is a visitor center there with restrooms and water fountain. Beautiful views with a pedestrian lane and a bike lane, perfect! More

Park on either end of the bridge and take a hike, literally! Best spot is in Patriot's Point in Mount Pleasant and then give a brisk walk forward to the crest of the span.
