This bridge can be seen from many locations around Charleston. The architecture of the bridge is a sight to see! As soon as we saw it--we knew we had to at least drive over it. I was happy to see the great, safe walking/biking area built right into the bridge. The weather did not cooperate to allow us to walk/bike... More

Loved riding or running this bridge. The scenic view is spectacular and makes the exercise that much more fun,

This bridge is really impressive from atop and below. We viewed the bride from below on a harbor cruise - engineering at it's best. From the pedestrian walkway (also a bike pathway), one gets a magnificent view of Charleston and the Charleston Harbor. Take the time to walk it in the early morning or at sunset!!!

What an awesome sight. Saw it first from aboard a boat during a harbor tour then got to drive across it the next day. It is really neat that people can walk, jog and bike across it.

Relatively new, they should have made this wider to accommodate the hoards of tourists that now make Charleston another "tourist trap". Traffic moves pretty quick but relatively crowded.

The bridge is beautiful to look at, walk or run across the length of the bridge or go to the park at the bottom of the bridge on the Mt. Pleasant side and chill after a long day--sat in swings on the pier and watched the sunset.

It was accident that our first crossing was at night, but this is one pretty bridge. Long and lean, well lit at night.

Nice bridge especially when the sun is out and the sky is blue. Traffic is never too bad either. From a boat the bridge looks amazing

You can see this magnificent piece of engineering from many spots in Charleston. We got an especially good look at it during our boat ride to Fort Sumter. And, on our way out of town going up the coast we drove across it, simply beautiful. We live in the Boston area and are proud of the Zakim Bridge. This on... More

If you get a chance, walk/bike this bridge. While on another tour, we heard that the middle of the bridge is the highest point in Charleston. A wonderful view of the area. There is a designated path for bikers and walkers. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be there often.
