We just love walking around the old part of Charleston and looking at the lovely old mansions. Many of them are right there on the waterfront and on the park. What a gift to the nation to care for these lovely old homes!

The members of the Charleston Historic Society work really hard to make these homes accessible. Booking this fall tour with them will probably be your only chance to see inside some of the homes, and hear the history of the structure and the gardens. And Fall is a great time to visit this grand lady of a city.
