It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray). « less

This is baseball at it's best. Small local and wonderful park with grounds that are immaculately kept. Every seat is close to the field and you really feel part of the game...so much better than sitting in the nose bleed seats at a major league game. This is a family friendly park that reminds you of going to your kids... More

I've been to 50+ professional ballparks in the past 10 years. I love the game, and found this ballpark experience to be below average. It isn't in a great part of the city (a drive away from other tourist attractions.) What I'm most disappointed in is the lack of features catering towards the true baseball fan. The scoreboard does not... More

A fun ballpark to bring the family. Lots of between inning activities, good concessions, and not a bad seat. Love the Tree Mascot.

As a die hard Red Sox fan, I reluctantly went to see the Riverdogs play against Augusta. The park was beautiful, clean, and a great place for a family to see a good game without breaking the bank.

Love going to Riverdog games! The stadium is well maintained, a great family atmosphere and reasonably priced food and drinks. Our whole family LOVES going to the games, we've even met Bill Murray and got him to sign a foam finger for us!

Discovered baseball there. My previous experience in big stadiums, with professional teams, wasn't at the level found at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. Doesn't refer to players' level, but to the ambiance. This was friendly. The animation fun for both individuals and families. And the location very pretty. Enjoyed the match even if the Riverdogs didn't win. Will return for... More

Just a nice place to walk around. Great park by the water. Fun place to bring the little ones. They can run and play in the fountain and the police won't chase them away!

Wish we had gone to more games this year. What a great little stadium that gets you close up and personal to the game. Love these smaller venues!

Friendly family oriented venue that offers reasonably priced food and drinks. We love watching a baseball game at this ballpark. The employees are always helpful and the fans are great.
