My husband and I just loved this food tour with Culinary tours. We went to three places--Leaf, Southend Brewery and an italian restaurant. We weren't totally crazy about Southend but we LOVED Leaf and this one italian place. Neither one we would have found on our own and we loved the courtyard of the italian restaurrant. This tour is for... More

First off, this trip is an excellent way to start your vacation and get an idea of several restaurants before you spend days looking around town. Not only do you eat fabulous food and desserts at 4 different stops, you also get a guided tour that includes some other recommendations and a brief history lesson. Glenn did our tour and... More

I would highly recommend Glenn and this tour if you want to sample some of the best food that Charleston has to offer, combined with much needed walking between courses and tidbits of history from a dedicated tour guide. Do it on your first day and then you'll have plenty of great recommendations for meals later. I only wish that... More

We decided to cough up the $50 a person after reading reviews on here about how wonderful the tour was. I am glad we did but would not do it again. The first bump in the road was Glenn (who everyone says is great) was sick on our day, so we had Gills? He was another owner. He was a... More

We are so glad we chose this Culinary Tour during our recent visit to Charleston. I would highly recommend it to any visitors. We went on Friday and were able to visit the Leaf bar & Cafe...great choice to include on the tour. Charleston Culinary... More

The best tour I've taken in Charleston! The food was FABULOUS and the tour guide was FASCINATING! Not only did we get to sample some of Charleston's finest cuisine, Glenn Morehead was a very knowledgeable guide, showing us sides of Charleston I haven't seen in my previous trips. I would definitely recommend this tour! More

Oh, the food, and oh the southern hospitality! We took this tour on our last day in the area, as we hoped to do something a bit different. Giles was our amazing local guide, full of historical anecdotes and charm. This walking restaurant tour is not to be missed...$55. pp if reserving online for the Historic downtown tour. That said,... We took this tour on recommendation from one of my customers in NY. He said "you must take this tour when you visit Charleston." We took his advice and were more than happy we did. Glenn did a great job and the restaurants were wonderful. He had a vast knowledge of Charleston history and his picks were wonderful. It was... More

We went for a friend's bachelorette and had a fabulous time. Glenn took us to three restaurants, SouthEnd Brewery, Il Cortile de Rey and finally Leaf where we sat in the gorgeous terrace. Glenn was enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable about not only the cuisine but also Charleston history, and tons of fun.. We were treated great and the food was absolutely... More
