Morris Island is one of those places you can get lost with the world around you. One of the most peaceful and scenic places in Charleston. Morris Island is protected and owned by the Charleston County Park Systems. The shelling is out of this world you could spend all day. -Capt. Joe More

Far exceeded my expectations. The guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially when I knew little to nothing about kayaking. Professional and courteous from the minute you arrived until you drive away. Also very informative about local wildlife, history and local ecosystem. Grew up in Louisiana and thought I knew a lot about the marsh....boy was I wrong!! Great for... More

We love to hear we meet and exceeded your expectations on our kayaking tour. Coming from Louisiana you have a great understanding of the saltwater estuaries. Louisiana has the United States largest combined saltwater estuary system. Rick More

We took the Eco-tour and learned so much. The highlight was being in a huge pod of dolphins as they hunted. We were close to them for an hour and saw their intelligence in their hunting techniques. I am delighted with the CD of the photos our captain took. He was such a nice guy, Joe, the owner. We will... More

The pod had countless dolphins in it that day. You can never can really tell how many dolphins are in a large pod like one we observed. "If your seeing 8 to 10 on the surface there may be another 8 to 10 under the surface"? Hope you enjoyed your stay in Charleston. -Capt. Joe More

We had a WONDERFUL experience on the twilight kayak tour with our most excellent guide Tripp- we got to see a Brown Woodstork - which should have been the highlight of the tour - but for my husband and I it was seeing Bottle Nose Dolphins at the end of the tour. Along the route, Tripp pointed out many different... More

Hey Guys! Thanks for coming out with Charleston Outdoor Adventures, on one of our famous Twilight Kayak Tours. The wildlife viewing that day was incredible. Now we can scratch the American Woodstork off the endangered species list of personal sightings. Tripp More

This was our first time in Charleston and we chose the boat tour to Fort Sumter and Morris Island. Our captain was Joe, who was so friendly and knowledgable. The four of us had an awesome time. Dolphins literally swam right next to the boat. We got to see an osprey and her nest, as well as endangered wood storks.... More

The Sunset Charters are my favorite tour by far!!! The lighting on the water and the lighthouse are unbelievable that time of day. Everything changes color throughout the tour from golden to purples. I'm glad the dolphins put on an excellent show for us that afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you in July for some fishing. Joe More

We love when our local guest come out on our guided tours. The experience and the knowledge gained by paddle in your back yard is unbelievable.
