My wife and I visited Napatree Point in late April. We enjoyed a very nice stroll down the extensive beach. Only a couple of stores were open so don't bother going there for shopping early in the season. More

But this is the best beach in RI. No frills or facilities and the parking is very limited and expensive. It is a long hick to the beach, but once there it was worth the journey. not a beach for surfing or kids. This is the quiet beach for long walks and relaxation. So please don't tell anyone! More

Napatree Beach is a lovely spot for tourists as well as those who live in town. The townspeople and shopkeepers are wonderful. I went in March and some stores were closed, but the real estate agent was very pleasant and helped me find a restaurant. She also told me about the remodeled Ocean House, which sounds like an awesome resort.... More
