We used to go there weekly to walk our leashed dog. There are signs everywhere saying dogs must be leashed. Week after week, we'd have dogs come racing up to us, unleashed, sometimes without the owner even being close by. After my dog was nearly attacked by an unleashed dog we stopped going there. More

On a hot day it's a relief to go out to Conimicut and just sit by the bay. It's always pretty windy there so it's perfect for the humid days of summer. The view of the bay is great, and you can wet your feet and really cool off. More

Don't get me wrong this is nothing compared to beavertail in Jamestown, or the Cliff Walk but it offers great views right in warwick. It's a quiet park, people fish here, sunbathe, and there is a play ground. More

Conimicut Point Park is a great spot on the Bay. Terrific views relatively quiet and unpretentious. With the opening of the Providence waste water treatment tunnel the effluent problem following heavy rains has been considerably minimized. For lighthouse lovers, the Conimicut Point Lighthouse is located just offshore from the park, and it is a beauty. The park is rocky, but it features panoramic views of the Bay. I would not recommend swimming at the small beach, as the water is heavily polluted. More

A pleasant little park located right on the west side of Narragansett Bay. Not very big, so not really suitable for much walking, but a great place for a picnic or watcing the water.
