This is a great family beach. There are picnic tables and a playground area plus it is a great beach to walk. You can go down to Galilee and watch the boats come in. When we first found this place, it was called Sand Hill Cove. More recently they have changed the name to "Roger Wheeler State Park". We went to the Roger Wheeler State Beach today and had a very nice time. There was plenty of parking and space on the beach. It was peaceful very friendly families all around us.
