This is a very scenic lighthouse and fog horn with a long history. For years, you could walk up close and read the plaques, etc, but now it is fenced as a Homeland Security site. Still worth a visit. More

A beautiful lighthouse perched at the very tip of Narragansett. Lovely area to take photos! Has a great history to it, too. Worth a visit if you're in town. More

Point Judith Lighthouse is a beautiful place to visit. The lighthouse, originally built in 1810, has a rich history in this area due to its location and significance over the years. The are is definitely a Kodak-moment type of place. You cannot always get access to the actual lighthouse, but you can get relatively close and get some great photos. The... More

It's fun to get chowder & clamcakes from Aunt Carrie's then sit at the pretty park next to the lighthouse. Gorgeous ocean view and many waves for the surfers. Look to the right and Block Island can be seen in the distance. More

Loved this area. Beaches were nice but lots of jelly fish. Hurricane was approaching. Loved the food, the area, restaurants and ice cream. More

Point Judith light station is US government property and is an active aid to navigation. It houses US Coast Guard families and if the gates are open, you can walk onto the light station, now (2012), under the Department of Homeland Security. There are no restaurants or toilet facilities. There is plenty of parking. It's just a place to sit... More

One of the nicest views in all of RI. You can walk the grounds and check out the recently renovated lighthouse. I love just sitting at Pt. Judith and watching the ocean. More

We have visited Point Judith Lighthouse many times after a visit to Aunt Carries. We love the view of the bay. This time we were not able to get on the grounds due to construction, but we still walked around area behind the lighthouse. We were with another couple who have lived in Rhode Island most of their lives. They... More

It's such a beautiful lighthouse. You can get some great photos of it from both land and sea. I've been there when the fog horn has been on too.. really loud! It's a great place to walk around and take in the view. If you have a boat or a jetski, the view of the light house from the water... More
