I have always had a great time at the Pittsburgh Zoo! Animals have lots of room to walk around and seem relatively happy. Great food and people. Visit!!!!

Bring the stroller would be my best tip! We got there early, about 15 minutes after it opened and left around 12:00 and it was getting much more crowded. Would probably be tough on a very hot day, a lot of outdoor time, but overall, an excellent adventure!

Well laid out zoo that ensures everyone sees the animals and the animals appear to be well taken care. The only issue is that some of the enclosures seem small for a few animals.

This zoo offers great viewing from multiple sides of an exhibit - which gives a better chance of actually seeing the animals!
