It is so pretty and something to see after your walk around Frick Park. I loved going in there and looking around at many interesting things.

First of all, the parking is free which is practically miraculous at any site inside a city nowadays. There are at least 5 separate buildings that you can visit, 3 of which cost no money, and you can stroll the grounds for free so you can make this visit be a zero-cost visit if you wish. The art museum is...

Was here for a group tour which was also an education program so not sure if it would have been better otherwise. I had recently read a few books that included information on Henry Clay Frick so I was disappointed by the information given on the tour. We didn't see the art other than what was in the mansion and...

The Frick is really three museums. There.s a carriage museum that we didn't visit, a house tour of Clayton, the Frick mansion, and an art museum. The house tour is interesting. (Think Downton Abbey with owners that had obscene amounts of money.). The upper floor of the house is not wheelchair-accessible, by the way. The art museum reflects Mr. Frick's...

The guides are available for questions but I prefer a more in depth tour of just a few pieces at a time. The collection was very impressive. Look at the corners and not just the center pieces or you will miss some of the best ones. Our group went through separately and all thought it was well worth visiting.
The Frick mansion (Clayton) is a great example of mansions of the robber barons and it is in terrific condition. The vehicles in the garage were also quite impressive as was the greenhouse. Perhaps the nicest part of the property, though, was the cafe, which is in a separate building on the premises. It has a limited but very nice...

This place is amazing. From the gold door knobs to the cars in the garage, it's pure elegance. Would have loved growing up in this home.
I took a friend to lunch for her birthday. We had been there before, but I didn't recall much except that the cafe is lovely. It's on the grounds of the Frick Museum and it was as pretty as I remembered. The nice surprise was that the food was as good, as carefully prepared, and as decent a value as...

Frick's mansion is open on tour which was excellent with very well trained docent. Car museum has a great collection and very interesting movies on cars. The art museum is small with a very good medieval art collection
The Frick house tour is an enjoyable and informative docent-led house tour. It's pretty basic, you're led through the house, told a little bit about the family and their history. The house itself is in marvelous condition, and the docent's talk was welcoming and insightful. The garage in the back also has a good exhibit of cars and buggies from...
