I could probably write a book about what was in this attraction and how much enjoyment it gave me. My family and I spent an hour walking through all the rooms looking at the displays of Christmas past and present, animal Christmases, and then a beautiful group of rooms with numerous nativity scenes and a telling of the real Christmas... Touristy stop, reminiscent of Gatlinburg or other tourist trap destination. More

The National Christmas Center is a true gem. Our favorite part was the recreation of the Woolworth's store - this brought my mother to tears as she reminisced about the items that were on display that she had in her own home as a child. Something for everyone here...kids (including a train that goes around a Christmas tree), religious displays... More

This is a walk through museum type of place. They have many rooms filled with all sorts of Christmas items going back in time periods. Some of the elves are a bit "freaky" looking looking but overall we enjoyed it. More

Tucked away on Rt 30 in Lancaster County is what at first may seem a bit silly, but touches the hearts of the young and the young at heart. Christmas is seen from many viewpoints, both religious, and secular. The beginning is crowded with memorabilia that I remember seeing in my Grandparents house when I was a child. There is... More

Every room is Christmas. One room done as a Woolworth's 5 & 10 store. If anyone remembers those stores. I really love the room done up with the train village. The ceiling looks like the bottom of a Christmas tree decorated. The train village is just beautiful. Also at the end there are so many nativities from so many countries.... More

The National Christmas Center will take you on a personal journey to rediscover your own Christmas past through a series of vignettes depicting Christmas around the world, antique train sets, a Christmas department from an old Woolworth's at the turn of the century, and mechanical figures from a century of department store Christmas windows. I can't imagine a Scrooge who... More

My husband and I were very excited to go here right before Christmas. The admission price was very high for what you actually got to see. The building looks huge from the outside but there's really not all that much inside after you pay your money. Tired old displays that don't even measure up to todays department store windows. More
