The National Christmas Center is a true gem. Our favorite part was the recreation of the Woolworth's store - this brought my mother to tears as she reminisced about the items that were on display that she had in her own home as a child. This is a walk through museum type of place. They have many rooms filled with all sorts of Christmas items going back in time periods. Some of the elves are a bit "freaky" looking looking but overall we enjoyed it. More

Every room is Christmas. One room done as a Woolworth's 5 & 10 store. If anyone remembers those stores. I really love the room done up with the train village. My husband and I were very excited to go here right before Christmas. The admission price was very high for what you actually got to see. The building looks huge from the outside but there's really not all that much inside after you pay your money. Tired old displays that don't even measure up to todays department store windows. More
